Practice sessions are at​

Doris Miller Community Center on Saturday [map],
Columbus Avenue Church The Center on Tuesday [map], and

Legends Sports Center on Thursday [map].
 

There are three different sessions:

• beginners practice: In this session, we go over basics of kendo including reiho (etiquette), kamae (posture), ashisabaki (footwork), suburi (strike), so that you will be prepared to join the regular basic practice and later also advanced practice.

• Bogu basic practice: In this session, we work on kihon (basic) drills, with a focus on improving mechanics and overall endurance.

• Advanced practice: In this session, we tend to work on advanced basics, waza, and end with jigeiko.
